Police and technology colleagues are being encouraged to attend CityForum’s 2021 series ‘Riding the waves of the digital revolution – securing a National Digital Policing Strategy by 2025’. This programme of events has been developed in consultation with the National Enabling Programmes (NEP) and Police ICT Company.
The establishment of the Police Digital Service will be a key theme. The series will examine the prospects of the new service in a period that will certainly be challenging in public expenditure terms.
Covid 19 has resulted a revolution in digital working, the implications of which are not yet fully understood. However, when threats to organisations and systems from cyber malevolence are growing fast, technology can deliver safety, security and efficiency. What cannot be guaranteed is a fool-proof performance by the human beings who plan, run and respond to digital systems. These and many other issues will be debated and your contribution will be invaluable.
The full agenda and a list of outstanding confirmed speakers can be viewed on the CityForum website here.
