The National Enabling Programmes (NEP) team is supporting a public sector-wide event with Microsoft and MintTulip to look at how technology and cultural factors can enable better cross-agency working.
This event, focused on the protection of at-risk people and ways of working successfully across multiple agencies, brought together adult social care, councils, healthcare, police, fire, central government and charities in a conversation about what more can be done and how.
The protection of people at risk within our society is some of the most important work that our public sector agencies carry out. It is a complicated challenge and work that can’t be done by a single agency in isolation. It requires a strong multi-agency approach and the sharing of the right information at the right time in order to ensure a proactive approach and early intervention.
Simon Parr, Deputy Director at the NEP, will explain the work we’re doing with police forces across England and Wales to transform the way they work and collaborate, and how the tools and applications we’re introducing with forces will create a digital platform that can be foundation for responding to these challenges and increased demands on their resources.
This is the first in a series of ‘Multi-agency approaches and digital solutions’ events. If you’d like to be kept up to date on future events, email us.
