Hands Up - New Feature to make it easier to chair meetings

A brand new function in Teams meetings is now live across UK Policing. Until now it's been difficult to know the order in which hands are 'virtually' raised in Microsoft Teams Meetings, but now the order is automatically visible to everyone in the meeting.

The new functionality has automatically been deployed to Microsoft 365 tenant's across Policing as a result of the shared design and assurance of the National Enabling Programmes implementation.

If there is only one hand raised, no number appears, but as the number of hands up in the meeting changes the numbers automatically appear and update as the hands are lowered. This means it's easier for the chair and the rest of the delegates in the meeting to understand the order, meaning meetings feel more comfortable and effective.
